Snowshoe outing – The mysteries of astronomy


A journey into space for all those who are passionate or curious about astronomy!

By the light of the moon and headlamps, you will go on a night walk with fascinating stories about the world of stars and other incredible phenomena in our space. Our guide will take you to the best observation point, where you will have the opportunity to use a telescope. To top it all off, you’ll enjoy a delicious cinnamon tea while your head is in the stars.

Practical information:
– In the event of overcast skies, the outing is maintained with a modified programme (without the observation of the sky with the telescope)
– In case of bad weather conditions, the excursion may be cancelled or postponed

Equipment required:
– Warm, waterproof mountain walking shoes with good ankle support (avoid big boots as they do not fit on snowshoes), snowshoes, thick socks, warm clothes suitable for hiking, sticks, gloves, hat, a backpack to store your belongings.

Recommended equipment:
– A thermos, a small snack, binoculars, a camera

Animation maintained from 2 participants.
Reservations are open from 5pm the day before the event.

Wednesday 23 February 2022 between 5.30 pm and 8 pm.
Meeting point at the Couvert de Frâchette in Champoussin.
