Throughout the concerts, discover the different facets of Brahms: virtuoso pianist, but also chamber musician and orchestrator of genius.
A loving friendship
It was Robert Schumann who was one of the first to detect the genius of the young Johannes Brahms. Brahms then becomes a very close friend of the Schumann family. So close that Clara Schumann became his muse.
Precious friendship or impossible love?
The works gathered here will weave the musical context of this triangulation between Robert, Clara and Johannes. It will also be an opportunity to honor Clara Schumann, this exceptional female figure of the 19th century: virtuoso concert performer with an international career, attentive wife and mother of eight children, and a composer to boot!
