Fun activities with sled dogs to become a real musher!
AUTUMN MUSHING ACTIVITIES:
– Every Wednesday in September/October, various activities with the dogs are on the program, between 9:30 and 11:30 a.m.: discovery of Nordic dogs, cani-hiking in the forest, cani-kart baptism. Cuddling with the dogs is also on the program.
– The aim is to give local children, from an early age, the opportunity to come into contact with a dog and discover Siberian huskies, as well as the various mushing activities, all under professional supervision and in a safe environment. To get the most out of the program, a two-month commitment would be appreciated, as the activities are graded, but not obligatory.
MATERIALS:
– Each child comes with a small snack and a water bottle with water or another drink.
– Also bring a small backpack with: sun cream, sunglasses, k-way for rain, sweater if necessary, trainers (no flip-flops).
FOR PARENTS:
– Violaine and her team will be responsible for the supervision. A supervisor will be present at all times.
– Activities will be adapted to suit all children attending the camp, to ensure maximum enjoyment for all.
– Maintenance of the kennels and parks is not included in the activities, nor is the distribution of meals to the dogs (for safety reasons).
– The course is designed to be taken over the two autumn months by the children. However, it can be run on selected days.
– The course takes place regardless of weather conditions. Activities can be interchanged as required. Activities will be carried out in groups of children according to age.
REGISTRATION :
– There are two formulas at the same price, with activities adapted according to age category: for baby mushers (3 to 7 years) and for young mushers (8 to 16 years).
