Oratory Hikes

These small, stone monuments, like miniature chapels, were built by our ancestors to implore Divine protection, or in fulfilment of a vow.

Somewhat like a mini pilgrimage, this lovely ramble takes you by several of the oratories found throughout our region. An integral, yet often overlooked element of our landscape and heritage, they are a quiet invitation to peaceful meditation.

The goal of this walk is to shine a spotlight on the Oratories - their presence and significance - so that we may preserve and transmit this valuable cultural and spiritual heritage to future generations.
