Dans les prairies alpines de Champoussin

Val-d’Illiez

Enjoy delicious local specialities, go hiking and pick your own herbs, learn about cheese making and find out how to make your own pastries from wild plants!

After a restful night at the Auberge, you will enjoy the delicious "Région Dents du Midi" breakfast. On this occasion, you will have the opportunity to taste a piece of " Salée de la Vallée ", a traditional cake. You will then meet your guide and go for a hike to the Chaux pasture, where you will have the opportunity to discover and pick wild plants. With your harvest you will prepare your own lunch.

In the afternoon, accompanied by your guide, you will return to Champoussin. There, at the Chez Gaby farm, you will watch the goats being milked and then enjoy a tasting of some of the farm's products and a glass of wine.

For dinner, you will return to the "Auberge chez Gaby 1670" and to end the day well, your host will offer you a workshop on how to make goat yoghurt with fresh herbs.

The next morning, you will enjoy another regional breakfast, but this time at the Chez Gaby farm. We then suggest you discover the cheese-making process or visit the small museum that the farm houses. After a delicious lunch on site, you will return to the Auberge to take part in a MasterClass of pastry making with wild plants. In this activity, you will make nougat with goat cheese using the mountain herbs and dried fruits picked the day before.

Later in the afternoon, around 17:00, you will start your journey home by public transport or private car.
