Ugo Ballerini

Ugo Ballerini, from Troistorrents, has always been passionate about cycling and skiing. A huge motocross fan as a child, he took up BMX riding at the age of 6 and immediately fell for the adrenaline rush it gave him. Before long he began competing, winning his first Swiss Cup title in 2012, then riding away with the same title in the Elite category in 2021.

In the coming seasons, Ugo plans to focus on the European Cup and World Cup Championships with the goal of measuring himself against the world’s best riders, perhaps even at the Olympics. In his quest, the young athlete relies on the support of a performance centre in Lausanne for his physical preparation and a BMX trainer for technical expertise.
