Greetings and a very warm welcome to the 2023 World Cup Region Dents du Midi in
Morgins.

The ISMF is delighted to be able to bring once again one stage of our prestigious World Cup
circuit to Morgins, a region that has a long outstanding relationship with our sport, having
hosted previously incredibly successful events as one stage of the World Cup last year, or a
World Championship in 2008.

Our Sport and Technical staff were really impressed with the preparations for the World Cup
and the developments made by the local organising committee, and we are absolutely
convinced that the cooperation with all of them will be really fruitful, and we will be able to
deliver a fantastic event next January.

The impressive ski resort, the incredible atmosphere and the support of the local community
at Morgins will be the perfect backdrop to what is sure to be a weekend of outstanding
racing.

I would like to thank the Swiss Alpine Club, the local organisers, sponsors, volunteers and
the local government of the Valais region for their tireless effort on delivering this event. It is
only with the support and hard work of all these great partners that we are able to put
together such events and such impressive stages for our athletes to perform on.

I wish all the athletes all the best of luck in reaching your goals, whatever they may be, and I
hope that you can take the time to enjoy the beautiful setting and spectacle of the Morgins
World Cup.
