From October 27th to the 29th, Région Dents du Midi will hold the first-ever Raclette World Championships – bringing together the creme-de-la-creme of local and foreign producers of this emblematic Valais speciality.

A forerunner when it comes to showcasing and promoting local products and terroir, the La Cavagne local producers’ cooperative in the Illiez Valley is throwing down the gauntlet! Bursting onto the international foodie scene with the Raclette World Championships, this brand-new competition will feature local, regional, and international raclette cheeses. For this first edition, the organising committee intends to invite several countries, bringing raclette lovers and producers together from across the world for a weekend in the heart of the Portes du Soleil.
