Perched in the mountains above Champéry at 1,800 m, the Plein Ciel looks like something out of a James Bond film.
Both a hotel and a refuge, this establishment enjoys an exceptional location on the Champéry heights, in the former arrival area of the cable car. Guests come for the panoramic view, the peace and quiet, the rooftop terrace and the warm atmosphere between sky and mountain.
Plein Ciel offers 29 rooms, including doubles and families with private bathrooms, as well as a dormitory and two Refuge rooms with shared WCs. On site: garden, restaurant, bar, table tennis, billiards, video room with TV and video projector, spa and relaxation areas.
Numerous activities are accessible directly from the hotel and in the surrounding area: downhill skiing, cross-country skiing, hiking to lakes and peaks, paragliding, skating, curling, swimming pool, mountain biking, all-terrain scooter, accrobranche…
For business stays, Plein Ciel also has an exclusive 25-seat meeting room overlooking Champéry and the Dents du Midi, equipped with flipchart, video projector and wifi.
In summer, the restaurant is also open to outside guests in the evenings, by prior arrangement. The bar and panoramic terrace are open to all guests wishing to enjoy the exceptional setting and views of the Dents du Midi.
