The Illiez Card is included in your tourist tax and is provided free of charge by your accommodation provider.

Once your booking is confirmed, an automatic email will be sent five days before your arrival to register the personal cards for all persons included in your reservation. These cards are valid for the entire duration of your stay, from arrival to departure day.

The card is available in digital format with a QR code, or can be printed in paper format (PDF) by your accommodation provider.

The Illiez Card is included in your flat-rate tourist tax.

Each year, secondary residence owners must pay a flat-rate tourist tax received by post from the relevant municipal administration. In return, you receive a number of cards valid for one year from 1 May. The number of available cards is determined by the size of the property (1 card per 17 m²). Cards are personal and must be distributed among co-owners, families, or long-term tenants.

To collect your cards, please log in to the dedicated portal for secondary residents using the debtor code shown on your flat-rate tax invoice.

For short stays, each owner will have access to a self-declaration form link to share with their visitors, allowing each person to declare their stay and receive their personal cards. Stays for visitors are limited to 21 consecutive days, but can be renewed.

The Illiez Card is provided free of charge in the first year if you are a new taxpayer residing in the municipalities of Champéry, Troistorrents, Val-d’Illiez, Monthey, and Collombey-Muraz.

To obtain your cards, you must register your arrival with the relevant municipal administration within 14 days.

Once your declaration has been completed, you will receive an email to register by name the people living in your household and download the individual cards. These cards are valid for one year from the arrival date entered by your municipality’s residents’ office.

This year, the Illiez Card is exceptionally offered free of charge to taxpaying property owners in Champéry, Troistorrents, and Val-d’Illiez. Cards are valid for one year after registration.

To obtain your cards, you must register on the dedicated portal for residents of the Vallée d’Illiez. Cards are valid for one year after registration.

The following year, you will be able to renew them via the online portal (paid cards). Any fraudulent declaration will result in immediate and automatic cancellation of the cards and removal from the programme.

The Illiez Card is provided by the municipalities of the Vallée d’Illiez

The card is sent by post by the municipal administrations, on a paper card with a detachable coupon. It is valid for 1 year from May.
