Hiker's choice! This can be an easy downhill ramble or a challenging uphill workout between Morgins and the Foilleuse chairlift.
Starting at the bottom station of the Morgins gondola lift , the trail passes next to the chalet called Kuhstall/Bois-Gentil. Just past the chalet, take the large path on your left. Pass under the gondola lift, then look for the first round snowshoe red sign direction Savolaire.
At the crossroads, turn right into the forest following the Morgins-Madzé snowshoe signs.
At Madzé, take the wide path on your right, signposted Madzé-Télésiège Foilleuse. At #14, take the left-hand path to the ridge and follow it to the top of the Foilleuse chairlift. From here, you will enjoy one of the region’s most spectacular views of the Dents du Midi and surrounding Alps.

Variation:
Take the gondola lift up and hike down on snowshoes:

When you leave the gondola lift, turn left. The first beige snowshoe sign is at the arrival of the small ski lift (the one with the gentle slope). From here, you will follow the ridge, admiring the view over the surrounding mountains.
Parking available in Morgins village centre.
Morgins’ snowshoe trails are marked with round signs in different colours, named by section according to the start and end of the trail segment. The snowshoe trails do NOT show the same numbers used on the Winter Sports Map.
