“MYET” Red Trail / Rando-Parc Morgins

Morgins

Close

Experience what a true ski mountaineering course looks like as you head up the MYET track (Morgins Yannick Ecoeur Trophy). A technical red trail in the trees where you will need to perform a few kick-turns.

This itinerary is the most varied out of the Rando Parc trails with its kick-turns, flat sections, steep hills and even gentle downhill slopes that will allow you to catch your breath before you head up the next hill. This track offers two options: the first option is to take a shortcut at Pertuis Chértrain to end at the top of the Crêtes ridge (approx. 600m vertical elevation), the second option is to keep going until you reach the top of the Aiguille des Champeys (800m vertical elevation).

Descent:
From the top of the Crêtes de la Foilleuse: go back down via the La Foilleuse ski run.
From the Aiguille des Champeys: go back down via the Didier Défago ski run.

SIGNS
The trail is marked with yellow diamond signs (red point) to the top of the Aiguille des Champeys.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS:
At the start of each trail, a sign indicates whether it is open or not. The trails are marked but not patrolled. We therefore advise that you wear avalanche safety equipment (avalanche transceiver, probe, shovel and emergency blanket). Région Dents du Midi and Movement Skis accept no responsibility in case of an accident. Please follow the safety instructions. People heading up closed trails are held responsible for their own actions.
