The BBC Troistorrents basketball club was created in 1985 by a group of enthusiasts aspiring to develop women’s basketball in their town, an area primarily known for snow sports. From these humble beginnings, the club grew quickly, much in part to the fervent support it aroused within the town and surrounding valley. By 1992, BBC Troistorrents reached the first level of Swiss basketball, proving the truth of the adage ‘it takes a village’. Thanks to the unfailing encouragements of the whole region, this club has become one of the most successful in Swiss basketball.
