The Portes du Soleil Hockey Club (HC PDS) is a major player in the Dents du Midi region. Founded in 1999 through the merger of HC Champéry and CP Val-d’Illiez, it carries on the tradition that began in 1925 with the founding of the first Valais hockey club, the Hockey-Club de Champéry.
