Mushing Experience

Your first taste of mushing behind a pack of elite racing dogs.

This is mushing as it was meant to be felt — raw power, breathtaking speed, and the wild energy of a pack of elite racing dogs in full flight. Set against the stunning backdrop of Grand-Paradis above Champéry, your experience is divided into three parts: an introduction to the world of mushing, your ride as a passenger in the sled or kart depending on conditions, and time with the dogs afterwards for cuddles and photos. Along the way, learn about the history of mushing, help harness the dogs, and get hands-on with the equipment if you fancy. No experience necessary — this is a perfect family activity, accessible to all ages. Please note that passengers over 90kg will need to book the two-person sled option, which accommodates greater weight and requires a larger team of dogs — a supplement applies.

In summer, sessions run in the early morning or late afternoon to keep the dogs comfortable in the heat. Check the Alpes’Huskies website for availability, pricing, and to book your place.
