Martigny Tourism offers an activity for families and groups of friends: a scavenger hunt with puzzles to solve in order to fill a picnic basket.
Traditional Gourmet Scavenger Hunt
Various local businesses have teamed up with the Martigny Tourist Office to offer a unique and original experience. Participants purchase a bag containing all the materials needed to complete the scavenger hunt. They seek out merchants, each of whom will give them a local specialty. The locations are found by solving riddles, answering questions, and playing games.
You can participate on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. The picnic basket is designed for 4 people and can be purchased at the Tourist Office (price: CHF 65 per basket). The estimated duration of this game is 2 hours, but there is no time limit. It’s even possible to spread it out over several days (just be sure to check store hours).
