The Club des Patineurs de Champéry is organising beginner skating classes at the Palladium de Champéry’s ice rink. For children aged 4 years or older who wish to learn how to ice skate while having fun.

Figure skating is a popular sport around the world, practiced at school, with family or among friends. Whether on outdoor rinks, frozen lakes or in artificial ice rinks, figure skating provides an incredible sensation of freedom combined with gliding, speed, and esthetics.

Surrounded by Stéphane Lambiel, two-time World champion and Olympic medalist, and his team, the young skaters will be introduced to the basics of ice skating and progress towards spinning and jumping. Once the basics are mastered, plenty options exist for them to continue skating, for example with the Skating School of Switzerland.
