You can reach Lac Vert from Morgins by following the river along the Vallon de They to the Sassey pond. From there, head towards Les Fontaines Blanches, then Lac de Chésery, and you will arrive at Lac Vert (approx. 2h45 walk).

Situated at an altitude of 1’980 metres, the Lac Vert offers spectacular panoramas of the surrounding mountains, including the famous Portes du Soleil pass nearby.
Easily accessible on foot or by chairlift, this is a popular picnic destination for families and a renowned fishing spot!
Good to know: Visitors can purchase a fishing licence at the Refuge de Chésery and the hike to the lake can be shortened by using the Portes du Soleil chairlifts.
