Created in honor of Morgins champion Yannick Ecoeur, winner of the legendary Patrouille des Glaciers in 2010, the MYET is an autonomous ski mountaineering race in patrols of two.

The Morgins Yannick Ecoeur Trophy (MYET) committee is organizing the 11th edition of the popular ski mountaineering race in the Morgins area.

Practical information:
> Online registration will be available soon.
> The route remains unchanged (Morgins – Grand Jeur – Combe de Bonavau – Morgins) and covers a distance of 14 km with 970 meters of elevation gain.
> This race is, above all, a family-friendly and enjoyable event.
> The race is contested in teams of two runners. It is open to women’s, men’s, and mixed teams.
> At the end of the race, numerous prizes will be awarded via a random drawing.
> The minimum age for competitors is set according to the different categories listed below

Several categories are available:
> Families (2 generations)
ages 10 and up for the “family” category (two generations: one child with one adult)
> Fun-Pop (ages 18 and up)
> Performance (ages 18 and up)
> Women (ages 18 and up)
> Juniors (girls and boys ages 13–18).

Opening hours

Saturday 9 January 2027 between 7.30 am and 3 pm.
9:00 a.m. > Mass start at the Sports Center
2:15 p.m. > Announcement of results at the Salle de la Jeur.

Online registration:
> CHF 45.- per patrol member
> Until midnight on January 7

Last-minute online and on-site registration:
> CHF 50.- per patrol member
> On-site at the Salle de la Jeur between 7:30 a.m. and 8:40 a.m. (+ CHF 5.-)

Included in the registration fee:
> Race start
> Meal at the Salle de la Jeur
> Souvenir prize

The public can access the site via the Rando-Parc or by using the ski lifts (a pass is required and must be purchased at the ski lift ticket offices).
