Serving customers since the very beginning of the 20th century, the venerable Café Le Nord is one of the oldest establishments in Champéry. It has changed hands many times over the years, but has kept all the charm of yesteryear intact.
This restaurant specializes in the ever-popular Swiss Rösti, hash-browned potatoes served plain, with ‘atriaux’ for a truly Swiss Romand culinary specialty, or with chicken curry for more exotic variant.
In summer, our quiet, shady terrace is the ideal spot for an al fresco meal or a cool aperitif with spectacular views of the Dents du Midi mountains. In winter, the cosy, rustic interior is the perfect foil for hearty cheese dishes and local specialties, perfectly accompanied by a glass of wine after a long day on the slopes.
Opening hours daily between 9 am and 10 pm.
Closed on Thursday.
