The resort of Les Crosets will host the biggest freeskiing and freestyle snowboarding competition in French-speaking Switzerland!
Since the 2016-2017 season, the Tour Freestyle Romand has become one with the Wallisertour, the legendary competition grouping the Valais contests. The Tour brings together some twenty events held mainly in the cantons of Vaud, Fribourg, Neuchâtel and Valais.
Reserved for amateurs, this competition offers Jib, Big Air, Quarter Pipe, Half Pipe and Slopestyle stages, with modules adapted to all levels. The twenty or so stages enable participants to earn points towards the final rankings, and the chance to compete against riders from all horizons.
The Tour Freestyle Romand is also a platform for spotting young riders who can go on to join the French-speaking region’s freestyle selection team (Ski-Romand) or the Valais selection team (Style Valais). These two regional teams bring together the best riders aged between 12 and 18, offering year-round training and participation in national competitions (Swiss Freeski Open, Audi Snowboard Series).
