Visitor NotificationExceptional closure of the motorhome area in Champéry
Due to the organisation of the UCI Downhill Mountain Bike World Championships, the motorhome area in Champéry will be closed from 18 August to 12 September 2025. This includes the setup and dismantling of the competition village.

Parking at this location is free of charge. However, we kindly ask you to limit your stay to a maximum of 7 consecutive nights and to pay the tourist tax at the Tourist Office. Checks may be carried out by local authorities.
Once the tax has been paid, a Multi Pass will be loaned to you for the duration of your stay (deposit: CHF 20.–). This pass grants access to a wide range of activities and facilities throughout the Portes du Soleil.

Please note that access to the campsite’s sanitary facilities is not permitted. Public toilets are available in the village.
Wild camping is strictly forbidden outside designated areas, in accordance with Article 38 (p. 12 of 17) of the municipal police regulations.
The Grand-Paradis car park is located right next to the Grand-Paradis chairlift and campsite, on the outskirts of the village. To reach the centre of Champéry, you can take the Tourist Train free of charge.

⚠️ If the car park barriers are closed while your vehicle is still inside, you can still exit: simply drive slowly up to the barriers and they will open automatically.
