Recharge your batteries with a yoga & hiking weekend in the Dents du Midi . Enjoy the simplicity of nature during these 2 days of yoga, stretching and hiking in an idyllic setting.
Enjoy a soothing, nature-connected experience, punctuated by hikes, yoga sessions and an overnight stay at Anthème’s hut.
On the first day, set off on a 3- to 4-hour hike, punctuated by a picnic break and a moment of stretching in the heart of nature. You’ll reach the charming cabane d’Anthème, situated on the shores of the lake of the same name, and enjoy the simplicity of nature in the heart of the mountains, practicing yoga in the setting sun, followed by a delicious hot meal at the cabane.
On the second day, at sunrise, a yoga session will allow you to reconnect with nature at your own pace. Breakfast will tantalize your taste buds and prepare you for the magnificent hike home.
Materials required:
> Yoga mat or towel, backpack, comfortable weather-appropriate clothing and evening wear, windproof jacket, hiking boots, poles (if necessary), bathing suit, small microfiber towel, sunglasses, sun cream, picnic lunch for Saturday, bottle of water and small snack for the hike, sleeping bag (meat bag) and pillowcase for the night in the hut, toiletries (light).
> Have money on hand for drinks in the hut.
> In case of allergies, please inform the leader on 079 774 87 46.
Practical information:
> Gentle, flowing yoga classes are available for all levels, from beginner to advanced, with sun salutations, self-massage, stretching and breathing. Many tools to use at home.
> Total hike approx. 18km, approx. 750m ascent.
> No hiking experience necessary, but a good basic level of fitness is useful.
> Activity maintained from 2 participants.
> Event cancelled in case of bad weather.
> Registration open until Wednesday August 12, 5:00 pm.
Opening hours
Meet at the Grand Paradis parking lot in Champéry, then carpool to the start of the hike.
Departure at 09:30 on Saturday and return around midday the following day.
