From the center of the resort of Champéry, discover the Plateau de Barme and the refuges that mark the summer season.
Visitor NotificationFrom approximately 31st August to 20th November 2026, the access road to Grand-Paradis will be closed to all traffic due to turbining works. During this period, those wishing to reach Barme are invited to use the Route des Rives, via the Chemin des Journelles.
Starting from Champéry, pedal up the road to Grand Paradis. From here, the road steepens and climbs steadily to a place called Léchère before descending to the Barme Valley, a picture-perfect alpine plateau nestled at the foot of the Dents Blanches mountains. Return home by the same route, passing through Les Creuses and Les Parses on the descent back to Champéry.
