Calmly, Nèg' Marrons comes to take stock on the slopes of Morgins!

From March 15 to 21, 2026, the unusual pop-rock festival returns to shake up the powder snow of the Portes du Soleil!

Nèg’ Marrons has been making socially conscious music for over 25 years. Jacky and Ben-J, childhood friends from Cape Verde and Congo, grew up in Garges-lès-Gonesse (95) and got into hip-hop at a very young age, influenced by Ministère A.M.E.R, Dee Nasty, and the American scene.

Their rap, marked by pride in their African identity and political struggles, is imbued with a spirit of rebellion. They made their breakthrough in 1995 with “La Monnaie,” signed with Sony Music, and enjoyed major success with their first album, “Rue case nègre,” which went gold in 1997.

Key figures in French reggae-hip-hop and members of the Secteur Ä collective, they have been involved in numerous projects (Première Classe, Bissona Bissso) and prestigious collaborations (Wyclef Jean, Alpha Blondy, Cesária Évora). Back with a new project, Les Nèg’ Marrons continue their rich, festive and committed career, always focused on the stage
