Strap on your snowshoes and follow your guide along the spectacular snowy ridge from the summit of the Foilleuse to the Pointe de l’Au!
En route, you’ll enjoy breathtaking views of the Dents du Midi, the Vaud Alps, and the neighbouring French Alps.
Required Equipment:
> Good hiking boots, layered clothing including ski pants and a jacket, a drink and picnic, sunglasses, hat, gloves, snowshoes and poles.
> Pedestrian return ticket for the Foilleuse gondola (if you are motivated to walk back down you can purchase a single ticket).
Practical Information:
> Circular hike on snowshoes starting from the top station of the La Foilleuse gondola in Morgins, then following the ridge to reach the Pointe de l’Au.
> Moderate level outing, 420 m ascent and descent, distance approx. 7.5 km, time approx. 3 hrs.
Minimum 4 participants.
Event cancelled in case of inclement weather.
Registration is open until 5 pm the day before the event.
