Ropiane blends humor and art to capture emotions, landscapes, and animals. His paintings and sculptures reflect the curiosity and sensitivity of a watchful eye on the world around him.

Pierre-André Rossé, originally from Courtételle in the Jura, discovered painting at the age of 22, as a self-taught artist. In 1979, he set up his own locksmith business, and in 1986 became Ropiane, ventriloquist and humorist.

A master of both humor and brushes, Ropiane’s retirement enabled him to return to painting and sculpture, while continuing his other activity, artistic programming. His canvases reflect an emotional gaze, captivated by what he encounters – a landscape, animals.
