It all started in 1982 with a cheeky show to mark the end of their educational cursus called Spectacle pour les élèves et contre les profs — roughly translated, Students VS Teachers. Since then, the comedy dream team from Neuchâtel have toured Switzerland, France, Belgium, Canada and South Korea, racking up countless appearances on France 3’s La Classe and Swiss Radio Television, and showing absolutely no signs of slowing down.
Nearly four decades in, Jean-Luc Barbezat and Benjamin Cuche are now taking on their most ambitious challenge yet — distilling an immense career’s worth of highlights into a non-stop 59-minute showstopper. They say “choosing means giving up.” Turns out it’s also funnier.
