Hyperrealistic plein-air sketches inspired by the Vallée d'Illiez.
An exhibition devoted to Yulia Spichak’s plein-air sketches – quick sketches made on the spot, often in twenty or thirty minutes. “Working fast allows me to capture the moment, that fragile moment when light, air and emotion merge into a single impression,” says Yulia.
“Over the last few years, my walks and sketches have become for me a refuge of calm in the face of emptiness and the loss of bearings in the face of the uncertainty of the world, a way of reconnecting with the essential. Before nature, everything becomes simple: the look, the hand, the breath. Then the magic begins: we discover what was invisible, and the soul calms down a little.
A series to be discovered by all those who know how to let themselves be moved by the beauty of a moment.
