The majestic fir tree, icon of the alpine forest, provides a wealth of ingredients for tasty natural recipes and old-fashioned remedies.
Step into the alpine forest and discover the secrets of its towering guardians — mountain firs and spruces. These iconic trees, steeped in local legend, hide a treasure trove of culinary and medicinal surprises.
In this hands-on workshop, you’ll wander the woods and learn to identify these majestic trees, notice their unique features, and uncover their little-known benefits. Along the way, you’ll harvest young shoots and resin to craft a warming forest drink on the spot and a soothing sap-based “Breath Balm” to take home.
From spotting and tasting to creating and collecting, this workshop turns the forest into your classroom and leaves you with natural products and stories to treasure.
