This hands-on workshop will reveal all the culinary secrets and other benefits of the fir tree!

This majestic tree, a mythical symbol of our mountains, conceals little-known culinary secrets and benefits. In this workshop, we’ll tell you all about it, including a tasting session and the creation of products to take home. Mountain fir and spruce have been renowned for centuries for their properties and flavours.

You’ll go out into the field to observe these majestic trees, learn to identify them and spot their particularities, while revealing their culinary and medicinal secrets.
After harvesting their young shoots and resin, you’ll make several preparations: a drink that we’ll enjoy on site, and a resin-based “On respire” balm.

Practical information:
– each participant will leave with the products made during the workshop.

Equipment required:
– warm clothing suitable for outdoor conditions

The animation is maintained from 2 participants.
The animation is cancelled in case of bad weather conditions.
Registrations are open until 5:00 pm the day before the event.
