Nicolas Fraissinet defends an out-of-format style of song, blending acoustic and electro, without ever losing the tenderness of his piano. With his sparkling, sometimes husky voice, and an energy that’s always infectious, he’s back today with his new Joie Sauvage project: a new album, live show and video, accompanied by a book in the form of a poetic narrative illustrating each song in the project.
In this new “Joie Sauvage” project, Nicolas Fraissinet chooses authenticity and the urgency of expression, taking up the cause that has always been most important to him: nature, the animal condition to defend, and our condition as human-animals to rediscover.
Sylvie Bourban is a passionate singer and Berklee College of Music graduate. A lover of words that vibrate, she sings with emotion at her very core, and interprets a repertoire of text-based songs with finesse. Her sensitive, authentic voice touches, tells and moves. In 11 albums to date, she has woven a sensitive and authentic universe. She will be opening the show, before joining Nicolas Fraissinet on stage for the encore of Joie Sauvage, where they will perform a few songs together.
