Of Swiss and Argentinean origin, Nessa La Rose was steeped in music from an early age, immersed in her mother’s South American influences and her father’s passion for jazz and bossa nova. After living in Brazil for several months, she fell in love with the rhythms and infectious energy of its music, particularly tropicália and samba. In her sets, she is particularly fond of mixing funk, disco and house sounds, while retaining a distinctive Brazilian touch.
