Delicate paper cut-outs and organic sculptures meet in an exhibition blending tradition and modernity, where the curves of life take shape and invite contemplation.
Originally from Conthey, now living in Troistorrents, Nicole Dayen Schütz has always loved drawing, creating and working with her hands. Paper-cutting is a way of combining all her passions, in a style that blends the traditional and the modern.
Somewhere between abstract and figurative, Christophe Schaer’s wood sculptures depict organic, animal and human forms. The artist readily points out that he “seeks to represent the curves of life, or to take life in curves”.
