A memorable weekend dedicated to this traditional and impressive sport!
Ten years after their successful collaboration on the double cantonal festival in Collombey, the Troistorrents-Morgins and Illarsaz Haut-Lac clubs have decided to join forces once again to offer the Dents du Midi region a major event centered on celebration, sports, and camaraderie.
- The festivities will kick off on Friday, July 30, with a concert by one of our country’s leading bands, currently on their farewell tour, whose popular sound will naturally fit right in with this National Day weekend.
This event is sure to draw the band’s most devoted fans.
- Saturday, July 31, will be dedicated to the Valais Cantonal Boys’ Wrestling Festival, bringing together nearly 170 participants aged 8 to 18, followed by the traditional Morgins National Day Eve celebration.
- On August 1, 2027, this collaboration will take on a new dimension with the 142nd Fête Romande, which will bring together the best wrestlers from our association and a strong selection of German-speaking guests, in a highly symbolic setting where our national sport will echo the National Day celebrations.
Beyond the competition, our goal is to make this weekend a great occasion for the community, enthusiasts, partners, and visitors to come together around strong values: friendship, respect for one’s opponent, and respect for traditions.
