The Illiez Card is the new guest card that replaces the former Multi Pass in the Région Dents du Midi starting from May 2026. Offered in exchange for the payment of the tourist tax, it provides access to a wide range of benefits across the destination and its surroundings.
1. Who can receive an Illiez Card?
Short-term accommodation (hotels, campsites, group lodgings, backpackers, etc.)
- The card is given to your guests in exchange for the nightly tourist tax payment (Adults CHF 3.– / Children CHF 1.50).
- Once the host records the booking, the card is automatically sent to the guest by email five days before arrival.
- Valid for the entire duration of the stay (from the day of arrival to departure).
Secondary residents and long-term tenants
- The card is provided in exchange for the annual flat-rate tourist tax. The number of available cards is calculated according to the housing size (1 card for every 17 m²).
- Registration details will be provided with the tax invoice, sent every April by the municipalities. The owner can register cards online or directly at a Tourist Office.
- Valid one year starting in May.
- For short stays, the owner will have access to an online form allowing visitors to declare their stay and receive a personal card by email.
Residents of the Vallée d’Illiez (domiciled taxpayers)
- Annual card for a fee – offered free of charge in 2026!
- Available on habitant.illiezcard.ch
- Valid one year from the purchase date.
New homeowners in the Vallée d’Illiez and the municipalities of Monthey and Collombey-Muraz (newly domiciled taxpayers)
- Free for the first year (replaces the Pass Bienvenue in 2026).
- After registration by the local residents’ office, the card is automatically sent by email.
- Valid one year from registration.
Children under 16, domiciled and attending school in the Vallée d’Illiez
- Free annual card available from…
- Distributed directly by local schools, in paper format with a detachable coupon.
2. The advantages of the Illiez Card
The Illiez Card provides year-round discounts and benefits on activities, attractions and cultural events across the Région Dents du Midi and nearby destinations.

3. I’m an activity provider. How can I include my offer?
All service providers in and around the Région Dents du Midi may integrate a promotional offer into the Illiez Card at any time of the year.

4. Can my guests still benefit from the Multi Pass?
From May 2026, guests staying in the Région Dents du Midi will no longer receive the Multi Pass through the tourist tax. The Illiez Card becomes the new guest card.
The Multi Pass will still be available for purchase at the lift ticket offices, with a special 10% discount for Illiez Card holders:

5. Are the Champéry cable car and Morgins gondola included in the Illiez Card?
The Multi Pass normally offers 30% off pedestrian access to the Champéry cable car and Morgins gondola (single or return trips).
With the Illiez Card, guests benefit from a CHF 15.– day pass for pedestrians, valid on all Swiss lifts (cable car and gondola included). This day ticket is available throughout the lift operation period (mid-May to late October).
