Set off for adventure in the snowy backcountry with a qualified mountain guide.
Say Chésery! Today’s ski touring outing will take you to the Pointe de Chésery, one of Region Dents du Midi’s most emblematic peaks. On the way, your guide will teach you some tips and tricks for good ski touring technique.
Practical information:
> Difficulty of the hike: must be at ease skiing off-piste and have some ski touring experience.
> Duration: 3 hours uphill skinning
> On the outing, you will gain solid skills for climbing, descending and staying safe in the mountains, all with a certified mountain guide.
> Safety gear and equipment available to hire in Les Crosets sports shops.
Required equipment:
> Touring skis & skins, poles, layered clothing, safety equipment (avalanche transceiver, shovel, probe).
> At least 1L of water and a picnic.
> Valid Portes du Soleil lift pass (Switzerland-France) is required.
Minimum 2 people.
Cancelled in the event of bad weather.
Booking required by 5 pm the day before.
