This challenging downhill itinerary starts at the top of the Croix de Culet cable car and skirts the ski slopes for the hike back down to Champéry.
The snowshoe trails start at the top of the Croix-de-Culet cable car (look for the pink flag indicating the start).
Exit the cable car building and head straight downhill towards Les Crosets. Follow the markers bearing left down the slope, then fork left towards Planachaux.
Pass by the Chez Coquoz restaurant, then continue downhill along the path between the Planachaux chalets. The path passes between the bottom of the Planachaux chairlift and the top of the Grand-Paradis chairlift.
Pass twice under the Grand-Paradis chairlift, then at the junction with the Barmette path, turn left to reach the Route de Planachaux. From there, remove your snowshoes and follow the walking trail markers back to the village.
