Travel to the heart of our pastures through the eyes of Joëlle Trincaz. Her acrylic paintings on wood delicately capture the gaze of alpine wildlife. A beautiful immersion up close with our mountain animals.
An amateur painter since 2000, Joëlle Trincaz works with acrylics on wood. She focuses on animals, mainly those from the Abondance Valley where she lives, but not exclusively. Capturing the piercing gaze of these animals is fascinating!
Acrylics are the ideal medium for this work: drying quickly, they allow thin layers to be built up right to the final touch. The exhibition centers on the theme of alpine pastures and the animals that live there, displayed in portraits.
