Be captivated by the vibrant art of Vanessa De Angelis. Through works on aluminum where light sculpts the relief of the peaks, the artist offers a poetic tribute to alpine majesty and wide-open spaces.
Born in Switzerland, Vanessa De Angelis spent a large part of her youth in the family chalet facing the Les Diablerets glacier. Fascinated from an early age by the energy of the mountains and the scenery changing continuously through the hours and seasons, her painting conveys memories of space and freedom.
Thanks to a technique she developed by painting on aluminum, her artworks come alive and evolve with the surrounding light, creating new perspectives throughout the day while revealing different depths depending on the viewer’s perspective.
