11. Croix de Culet – Chaupalin

This trail winds in-between the ski slopes, offering unobstructed views of the Dents du Midi and Dents Blanches mountains and perfect snow conditions throughout the season.

The snowshoe trails start at the top of the Croix-de-Culet cable car (look for the pink flag indicating the start).

Exit the cable car building and head straight downhill towards Les Crosets. Follow the markers bearing left down the slope, then fork right, heading back towards Les Crosets.

At the Refuge du Chaudron restaurant, pass behind the building and cross the ski piste — watch out for skiers. Continue along the path beside the Crosets reservoir.

At Chaupalin, a magnificent panorama unfolds — taking in the Dents du Midi (3,257m), the Ruan massif (3,220m), and the Dents Blanches (2,760m).

Return to the start by the same route.
