Starting from the Croix de Culet, accessible via the cable car, this easy, circular hike is ideal for snowshoers in search of sunshine and panoramic views of magnificent mountain ranges.

The snowshoe trails start at the top of the Croix-de-Culet cable car (look for the pink flag indicating the start).

Exit the cable car building and head straight downhill towards Les Crosets. Follow the markers bearing left down the slope, then fork right, heading back towards Les Crosets.

At the Refuge du Chaudron restaurant, turn left and descend the slope below the restaurant. Follow the path back towards Planchaux, then head back up towards the Croix-de-Culet.
