A historic and festive day that brings the community together in tradition.
Champéry will be hosting Corpus Christi on Thursday 4 June 2026. A full programme of festivities runs from early morning through to the evening:
6:00 — Diane throughout the valley
7:15 — Militia call on the forecourt of Champéry church
9:20 — Departure of the banners; all proceed to Champéry church
9:30 — Mass at Champéry church
10:30 — Procession: 1st resting station at the junction of Route d’Entrevayes and the old Grand-Paradis road (above Restaurant Mitchell’s); 2nd resting station on the church forecourt
12:10 — Procession to the Palladium to the beat of the drums
12:30 — Addresses by municipal authorities, followed by a complimentary apéritif from the commune, the sharing of bread, and the traditional flag-raising at the Palladium
From 13:00 — Lunch at the Palladium
15:30 — Vespers at the Palladium
Refreshments and entertainment all day long.
