Fête de la Nature | Narcissus & Daffodils in the Illiez Valley

Troistorrents

To mark the 15th edition of the Fête de la Nature, join biologist Yann Triponez, from the Cantonal Forest, Nature and Landscape Service, and mountain leader Nathalie Nemeth Défago for a delightful ramble through the daffodils.

First described in 1889 as “the Eden of Narcissus and Primroses,” the Illiez Valley still offers an exceptionally rich flora and landscape today. Between field observations and accessible explanations, you’ll learn to recognise and understand these two iconic species — and explore the conservation challenges facing this remarkable natural heritage. Fun activities for young and old make this a genuinely convivial outing for the whole family.
