Heritage comes to life at the Vieux Moulins de la Tine!

Immerse yourself in the skills of yesteryear with unique demonstrations every weekend in July and August. These events offer you a rare opportunity to see, feel and hear the trades that were the heartbeat of our valleys. A lively, authentic experience accessible to all – young and old, curious and passionate.

Program for July 18 and 19:
> The blacksmith will be at work shaping the metal.
> The stonemason will carry out the dressing of the millstones of the cereal mill, an essential operation consisting in restoring the stone grooves to preserve the smooth functioning of the mill.
> The weaver will show you the art of weaving the old-fashioned way: the regular sound of the loom, the threads taking shape… a plunge into a delicate and precise knowledge. (18.07)
> The hood maker will perpetuate a unique local craft by making a traditional hood, once indispensable for transporting crops and wood. (19.07)
