Heritage comes to life at the Vieux Moulins de la Tine!
Immerse yourself in the skills of yesteryear with unique demonstrations every weekend in July and August. These events offer you a rare opportunity to see, feel and hear the trades that were the heartbeat of our valleys. A lively, authentic experience accessible to all – young and old, curious and passionate.
Program for the traditional care weekend on August 22 and 23:
> The blacksmith will be at work shaping the metal.
> The weaver will show you the art of weaving the old-fashioned way: the regular sound of the loom, the threads taking shape… a plunge into a delicate and precise knowledge.
> The herbalist will introduce you to the virtues of local plants and their traditional uses, through a practical and sensory approach.
> The healer will introduce you to traditional family treatments, including natural remedies, preventive gestures and knowledge handed down from generation to generation.
