Put yourself in the shoes of a farmer in the Dents du Midi region and discover the hard work of milking cows. As a reward, you’ll enjoy a delicious raclette made from alpine cheese. A unique opportunity to enjoy an authentic experience!

Practical information:
> The venue is about a 30-45 minute walk from the Portes de Culet parking lot. Signs will guide you to the exact location where the cows will be milked.
> Starts at 5:00 pm
> For those with walking difficulties, it is possible to go directly to the Champsot 2 mountain pasture at 6.30pm for a visit of the pasture and a meal.

Recommended equipment:
> Bring waterproof clothing and footwear suitable for the mountains.
> Reservations open until 5:00 pm the day before.
> Activity maintained from 2 participants.
> In the event of bad weather, milking will be cancelled, but it will be possible to come directly to Alpage Champsot 2 at 6:30pm to enjoy the visit to the mountain pastures and the meal.

Opening hours

From 02/07 to 27/08/2026 on Thursday between 4.30 pm and 9 pm.
To ensure that you arrive on time for the event, we recommend that you start walking from the Portes de Culet parking lot no later than 4:30 p.m. to reach the event venue by 5:00 p.m.

Free entry for children under 7.
