Milking Cows & Raclette Tasting

Morgins

Pull on your coveralls and spend the afternoon being an alpine dairy hand. When you’ve milked the cows and worked up a hearty appetite, we’ll treat you to a delicious snack of authentic Raclette cheese.

You’ll meet our cheesemaker along an alpine road to reach the mobile milking unit in the middle of a pasture, where you’ll learn the tricks of the trade. After the effort, you’ll be offered a tasting of 6 raclette cheeses and a welcome drink. An authentic moment of sharing in an atypical setting!

Practical information
– The venue is a 30-minute walk from the Porte de Culet parking lot. Signs will guide you to the exact spot where the cows will be milked.
-Event starts at 5:00 p.m.

Recommended equipment :
– Bring waterproof clothing and footwear suitable for the mountains.

Reservations are open until 5:00 pm the day before.
Activity maintained for 2 participants or more.

Opening hours

From 04/07 to 29/08/2024, every Thursday between 4.30 pm and 8 pm.
In order to arrive on time for the event, we recommend that you leave Morgins at 4:00 pm and park at 4:30 pm at Col Portes de Culet.
Mr Benjamin Dubosson will be waiting for you at the milking point from 5.00 pm.

Full price: 30 CHF, Child (7-12 years): 20 CHF.
Free entry for children < 7 years.
Up to 12 years old, must be accompanied by an adult.
