These animations offer you a rare opportunity to see, feel and hear the trades that made the heart of our valleys beat. A living, authentic and accessible moment for all – young and old, curious and passionate.
Sunday, July 20 program:
– The blacksmith at work: Come and admire the work of metal and watch the strapping of a foulon..
– The stonemason will perform a rare demonstration: the size of the millstone of the foulon, a centerpiece of the mill hand-shaped, before your eyes.
– The hood factor will perpetuate a unique local craft by making a traditional hood, once essential for the transport of crops and wood.
