"Bazar Bizarre" brings together illustrations from two children's books in which everything goes wrong!
In artist Katya Poltorak’s books, animals speak with strange voices, behave in unexpected ways, and turn ordinary situations into joyful chaos. Each new twist takes the story a little further, until familiar rules no longer apply and the absurd begins to seem perfectly natural.
The exhibition is an invitation to see the world through the eyes of a child: to play with logic, relish mistakes, and imagine that things could always be different. Here, the strange is not something to be explained. It’s something to laugh at, explore, and accept.
