It’s wanderful…

Forget about tiptoeing through the tulips! When you’re exploring the Alps on foot, you can dabble your toes in an frigid lake, laze in the dappled shade of a forest glen, ramble through flowering pastures, scramble up craggy summits and wander the wilderness to your heart’s content. Benefit from hiking holidays in Swiss in Champéry, Morgins, Les Crosets or Champoussin.

With 21 chairlifts open in the summer and safe in the knowledge that there’s always an alpine hut somewhere along the path, you don’t have to worry about being home in time for dinner! Our mountain refuges offer food and drink and welcome shelter and are often a destination in themselves.

There’s no better way to hike the Alps than by travelling from cabin to cabin, spending the nights tucked snugly under a fluffy duvet after a hearty meal in the company of your fellow travellers.
